Construction of the ambitious Surat Multi-Modal Transportation Hub (MMTH) project has crossed the halfway mark, with 51% of Phase 1 and 42% of Phase 2 work completed, according to the Surat Integrated Transportation Company (SITCO). The project, being developed over 2.5 lakh square metres as a joint initiative of the Ministry of Railways, the Gujarat government and the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC), is expected to be completed by December 2027, with both phases progressing simultaneously. ........
