The CID Crime has uncovered an alleged land grab conspiracy involving prime properties worth several crore rupees in Ahmedabad’s Vejalpur and Jodhpur areas. The accused are alleged to have fabricated hospital records, forged signatures and created a fake will to deprive a woman of her rightful share in her ancestral property.  GeographicReference   The Economic Offences Prevention Branch (EOPB) of CID Crime has registered a case of cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy and other related offences against six persons. According to the complaint filed by Ratilal Thakor, 56, a resident of Bopal village, his father died in 2003 and his mother, Shakri, passed away in 2021. He alleged that his maternal grandfather, Khodaji Shivaji, owned valuable properties in Jodhpur, Vejalpur and Chaloda village in Dholka taluka, but his mother was denied her lawful inheritance. The complaint alleges that the six accused conspired to prevent Shakri and her legal heirs from claiming their share of the ancestral property. As part of the alleged conspiracy, they prepared a forged will in 2006 by fabricating Khodaji Shivaji’s signatures and creating fake supporting documents, which were then used to take control of the properties. ..........
