The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project has achieved another significant engineering milestone with the launching of 80-metre-long ‘Make in India’ steel bridge over Anupam Flyover (railway over bridge) in Ahmedabad, the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited said today. Maps Anupam Flyover (railway over bridge), constructed over the Ahmedabad–Mumbai main line of Western Railway (Sabarmati–Vatva section), is an important road link connecting Khokhra Apparel Park Metro Station and Kankaria Lake. The Bullet Train viaduct runs parallel to this railway line. In Ahmedabad district, the Bullet Train viaduct is primarily being constructed using the Span-by-Span (SBS) construction method, with typical span lengths ranging from 30 to 50 metres. However, at the Anupam Flyover crossing, the piers had to be positioned on either side of the existing flyover necessitating a longer span length of 80 metres. .......
