Kankaria Lake has received a new nighttime attraction with the inauguration of a permanent architectural lighting system covering approximately 4.5 km around the lake. The system was inaugurated by Ahmedabad Mayor Hiteshbhai Barot at a programme held at Gate No. 1, Pushpakunj, Kankaria. MP Dineshbhai Makwana and MLA Amulbhai Bhatt were also present, along with senior AMC office-bearers and officials. The new lighting system has been designed to give Kankaria a more attractive appearance after sunset while improving illumination across the lakefront. It features digital lighting processing, projection mapping, multimedia effects and sound-synchronised thematic lighting. ........
