The Gujarat Police has registered a criminal case against Osia Hyper Retail Limited directors Dhirendra Gautam Chopra and Kavita Dhirendra Chopra, along with another accused, in connection with an alleged cheating case involving goods worth approximately ₹16 crore. The case has been registered at the CID Crime Ahmedabad Zone Police Station under Sections 318(4), 316(5), 61(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). According to the CID Crime, Chopra and Kavita Chopra allegedly acted in collusion with Ruchi Rajkumar Baheti and used administrative staff working at various Osia Malls across Gujarat to procure goods from traders.
