Rakhial Police have booked the owner of an eatery for allegedly using a fake fire No Objection Certificate (NOC), along with the person accused of preparing the bogus document. Police have arrested the latter so far. The case was registered against Akram Khan Pathan, owner of Asif Fry Centre at Archana Estate in Rakhial, and Fazal, a resident of Gomtipur, who allegedly prepared the fake certificate. The forgery came to light during an inspection by the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services. Amarsinh Baria, Divisional Fire Officer of the East Zone, found that the eatery’s fire NOC file was pending and directed a fire station officer to verify its status. .......
