The Gujarat government has sanctioned the Preliminary Town Planning (TP) Scheme No. 457 for Godhavi in Ahmedabad, with several modifications to final plot areas, boundaries, locations and land-use provisions. The Urban Development and Urban Housing Department recently issued a notification under Section 65 of the Gujarat Town Planning and Urban Development Act, 1976. The scheme was prepared by the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) and submitted by the appointed Town Planning Officer. As part of the approved modifications, a 10% deduction from the original land parcels has been applied in several cases before the allocation of final plots.
